After making an incredible profit with the new Innova Crysta, the Japanese automaker does not seem to stop here as the upcoming facelift the Indian markets will welcome is the Corolla Altis.

Moreover, the Camry is also expected to get rendered for the uplift of its value in Toyota’s line up for India. Both the executive sedans will hit the dealerships probably by the end of 2017. The Toyota Corolla Altis, after receiving a pleasant facelift in 2014, is now all set to woo its admirers with some more makeover, on the feature and cosmetic part.

For a more alluring appearance, the front section has been tweaked with a nice pair of headlamps getting sharper and extended at the sides which will definitely carry a set of LED day-time running lights. The bumper has been beautified with a wider grille and the upper grille comes with a garnish of chrome making it more prominent. Tail lamps will receive the fitment of LED unit with the updates. Apart from these changes, the basic Corolla design has been continued with the long premium sedan structure.

The dashboard is now served with a large seven-inch touchscreen on the centre console, which, the company claims, has great UI capabilities. Few more interior tweaks, for the betterment of Corolla, are expected to be done which will be confirmed after the launch. Some of the advancements are restricted for the models available outside India.

The Toyota Camry will follow the Corolla by getting a facelift to improve its market hold in India. The changes can be expected on the exterior front, and the interiors will perhaps be unaltered. Moreover, engine specifications will also remain the same for the both the sedans from Toyota.
