Students of Krishnaveni Exhibition Society Polytechnic for Women on Tuesday took out a massive rally appealing to the people to adopt latest technology in day-to-day transactions. The rally which started at their college near PWD Grounds passed on the Mahatma Gandhi Road and finally reached the college traversing over 10 kms.
Holding placards with slogans to adopt latest technology and various apps, the students raised slogans in favour of cashless transactions. They said that it was better to conduct cash transaction online rather than standing in serpentine queues.
They also highlighted the importance of various applications available in the market to be used for money transactions. They appealed to people not to fall prey to fraudsters by revealing passwords of their cashless transactions. Lecturers M Srinivas, Rajyalakshmi and others accompanied the students.
