Vocal artist Suryanarayana felicitated
Noted playback singer Kumara Suryanarayana was felicitated by JMS Yoga Bharathi organisation on Monday evening at Siva Rama Krishna Kshetram (Ramakoti). Suryanarayana was a noted singer and music composer for dance ballets.

He rendered vocal support to many veteran dancers like Vempati Chinna Satyam, Vedantam Satyanarayana Sarma, Korada Narasimha Rao, Nataraja Ramakrishna, Manjubhargavi, Sobha Naidu, Meenakshi Seshadri and to many upcoming artistes as well. It is a record that Suryanarayana has supported with his vocal for about 13 thousands dance performances.
A brief meeting was held and the speakers N Ch Buchayya Charyulu, Hazrataiah Gupta, Balaramakrishna Murthy, K Rama Krishna appreciated the services rendered by Suryanarayana for the dance and music segment. The organiser Jangam Srinivasa Chakravarthy has conducted the felicitation programme.
On this occasion the disciples of Jangam Vijayakumar presented “Ganapati Stuti”, “Ranga puja”, “Brahmanjali”, “Kalinga Narthanam”, “Srungara lahari” and “Swara jati” dance items. Jangam Maneesha Chakravarthy, Jangam Sirish Chakravarthy, Susruthi, Atidhi, Lasya, Gowri, Pujitha, Sravanthi, Vaishnavi performed the dance items.
