Andhra Pradesh girl selected for ACA U-16 cricket team

City-based girl S Manasa has been selected for Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) under-16 team to participate in the South Zone cricket tournament that will be held in Vizianagaram. The budding cricketer is studying in eighth standard at Vivekananda English Medium School in Ajit Singnagar.

Manasa is the daughter of former cricket coach at Makineni Basava Punnaiah Municipal Corporation Stadium (MBP), the (late) S David. Her mother has been working as a sweeper in the same stadium.
Manasa has excelled at inter-district and zonal matches conducted in Guntur district recently. She is Left Arm China Men bowler and is being coached under the guidance of Srinivas.
