A six-day Silk India expo 2017 organised by Hastashilpi (Artisans and weavers welfare Association) was launched at Sri Sesha Sai Kalyana Vedika, MG Road in the city on Thursday.
A six-day Silk India expo 2017 organised by Hastashilpi (Artisans and weavers welfare Association) was launched at Sri Sesha Sai Kalyana Vedika, MG Road in the city on Thursday.
Veena, Miss Vijayawada and upcoming actress launched the expo. She said that various apparel, particularly Silk sarees, Designer ware products were showcased on this occasion under one roof.
The organiser of the expo Manjunath Gouda said that weavers and artisans from 21 States set up 70 stalls, Various Silk Saree Weavers, Handloom Clusters and Silk Co-operative Societies are showcasing their products to attract the customers for the Sankranthi Festival.
