Eminent musicians, music lovers assembled at Sri Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College to take part in the Saint Thyagarajaswamy Pancharatna Brindaganam on Sunday morning. Hundreds of spectator had come to the event to pay homage to the music saint Thyagarajaswamy.

As a part of Aradhana the Sangeeta Sanmandali, Vijayawada organised this music festival from the 16 of this month. Well-known musicians, Malladi Suribabu, NChB Acharya, KS Govindarajan, Popuri Gowrinath, CVP Sastry, Vishnubhotla Sisters, Ganduri Srinivas, Shivani, K Sadguru Charan, M Vijaya Kumar, PS Phalgun, KS Kalyanaraman, K Lakshmi narasamma, Kundurthi Aravind, Karthikeya Adinarayana Sarma and others rendered “Jagadanandkaraka” in Nata ragam, “Dudukugala nannedora koduku brovara” in Gowla ragam, “Sadhinchene oo Manasa” in Arabhi ragam, “Kanakana ruchira kanaka vasana ninu” in varali ragam and “Endaro Mahanubhavulu” in Sree ragam, tohgether.

After this Pancharatna Keerthana ganam, regular morning music session commenced with the vocal concert of O Jayaram of Tirupati which was followed by vocal concert of Kasturi Gopalarao, Veena concert of Achala from Hyderabad, vocal concert of UV Mohana Vasmsi of Hyderabad. Later Saint Thyagaraja Divyanama Samkeerthana Brindaganam was performed by Saiteja, Aasrita, Pratyusha, Vidya and Tejaswvi.

Ganduri Srinivasa Murthy, PB Madhu, Subrahmanya Raju, VSGP Shivani were rendered excellent violin support to the concerts and on mridangam Parupalli Balasubrahmanyam, Raghuram Hari, I Anjaneya Sastry, Phanibhushan, Karthikeya Adinarayana Sarma aptly supported. Secretary of sanmadali Modumudi Sudhakar ably organised this event.
