Much awaited new Honda City facelift made its global debut in Thailand earlier this month. The car is also going to be launched in India very soon as it was recently spied undisguised in India at a dealership yard.

The new City facelift features a design which is similar to that of new gen Civic / Accord, and not like that of the Honda City Griez on sale in China. 2017 Honda City facelift features LED wraparound headlamps, LED taillights, new fog lights, new bumper, new 16 inch diamond cut alloys, new all black interiors, new touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

2017 Honda City will be offered in five variants to include S (MT), SV (MT), V (MT and CVT), VX (MT and CVT) and ZX (CVT) grades. Interiors will get upgraded and according to trim levels will be seen with all black interiors with chrome accents. Reading light will be on offer with the VX grade onwards while ZX grade will get three rear seats, head rests with height adjustment, arm rests and two glass holders.

ZX is the new top-end trim which will come with 16 inch alloys, others will get 15 inch wheels. Reportedly, the LED DRL in the headlight is standard across variants. Other updates as per variants will include a 6.8” central display with reverse camera, LED cabin lighting, audio controls on steering wheel and CD/AUX-IN/Bluetooth connectivity, 8 speakers and automatic climate controls.

Front and Rear AC vents, rear parking sensors with camera and rear power outlets will also be evident. In Thailand, the new Honda City has been priced from 550,000 baht to 751,000 baht (RS 10.6 lakh to 14.5 lakh).
