The organiser Lanka Bala Subrahmanyam said that the aim of the organisation was to promote music especially to create a platform to young artistes. As a part of it four young artistes Karthik Bharadwaj, Hemadri Chandrakanth, K Aravind, and Dr K Anil Kumar have exhibited their talent.
Karthik has selected Madhyamavathi ragam for his main item. The 'alapana' and 'swarakalpana' for the composition of Saint Thyagarajaswamy “Rama katha sudha rasa”. Chandrakanth on violin, Aravind on mridangam and Anil Kumar on Ghatam efficiently and aptly accompanied the vocalist and made the concert more delightful.
The concert was concluded with Lalgudi Jayaraman’s Thillana in Sindhubhiravi ragam The music lovers gathered in the auditorium, enjoyed the impressive vocal concert of Karthik Bharadwaj.
