Arrangements for National Women`s Parliament completed
All the arrangements for the first-of-its-kind, National Women`s Parliament(NWP) have almost completed and the prestigious event is scheduled to take place today, February 10 at Pavitra Sangaman.
All the arrangements for the first-of-its-kind, National Women`s Parliament(NWP) have almost completed and the prestigious event is scheduled to take place today, February 10 at Pavitra Sangaman.
Elaborate arrangements have been made for the mega Women`s Parliament, which will be inaugurated by Tibet’s spiritual leader Dalai Lama in the presence of several dignitaries including Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Governor of AP and Telangana ESL Narasimhan, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, Nobel Peace prize winner Muhammed Yunus from Bangladesh and others.
A variety of colourful flowers have been placed at the venue. The entire area where the NWP is going to be held is beautifully illuminated. Two big elephants along with two small elephants, made with Thermo Coal are placed at the entrance of the main venue, as a sign of welcome to the guests.
The Sand Sculptures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu along with the theme of Women`s Parliament have been created by Gurukul students infront of the main dais, which will be a special attraction.
