A team consisting of a doctor and marketing professionals from Dabur India Limited conducted an awareness programme on oral hygiene for the students of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation Girls’ High School in Patamata Lanka on Tuesday.

Dabur is one of the oldest Ayurvedic companies in India that have decided to conduct oral hygiene camps at the municipal, aided and private schools in Vijayawada and distributed thousands of tooth pastes to the kids free of cost.

Nearly 20,000 children will be benefited with the campaign Dental Brigade launched by Dabur India Limited. The team is creating awareness on oral hygiene, dental problems being faced by people, oral infections, ill effects of taking gutka etc. Dabur India Limited Consumer Activation Head Sunil Sharma talking to children said oral hygiene is very important for not only children but also for everyone.

He explained how to protect the teeth and jaws from infections and importance of brushing daily. He said that Dabur has decided to create awareness among 75,000 school children studying in 250 schools in Andhra Pradesh, Nellore, Kurnool, Guntur and Krishna districts. He said that the Dental Brigade awareness programme is being conducted in association with Society for Oral and Dental care in 1250 schools in India.
