A fest for technical, cultural and sports enthusiasts

Saptavarna 17, a national level technical, cultural and sports fest started at the Chirala Engineering College on Wednesday. Vikas Kumar, professor from IIM Mumbai attended as the chief guest lighted the lamps while secretary K Ravi Kumar, joint secretary Tella Ashok Kumar, engineering college principal Dr Syed Kamaluddin, polytechnic college principal Y Venu Babu and others also participated in the inaugural session.
Hundreds of students from the Chirala Engineering College along with the students from other colleges are participating in the technical, cultural and sports competitions being held on Wednesday and Thursday. The management announced that Prof VSS Kumar, VC of JNTU Kakinada, Prof S Krishna Rao, VC of Krishna University, Dasari Ramakrishna, CEO of Efftronics, Vijayawada and Padmasri Brahmanandam will participate in the conclusion of Saptavarna on Thursday.
