Nalanda Vidyaniketan reached the finals in Krishna District Cricket Association (KDCA) School League for Nori Siva Rama Krishna Trophy. Nalanda Vidyaniketan School defeated MK Baig Municipal Corporation School by 111 runs in the second semi-final match, which was held at Siddhartha Medical College (SMC) grounds in Vijayawada on Monday.

Nalanda Vidyaniketan won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 164 runs for four wickets in stipulated 25 overs. Nalanda batsman M Chirudeep made half century (66 runs in 64 balls), Y Aditya Sai scored 47 runs while Baig school bowler B Harshavardhan Rao took two wickets.

Later, MK Baig School scored only 52 runs and the team was all out in 14.3 overs. Nalanda bowler Y Aditya Sai took four wickets and PK Sri Chakri took two wickets and helped win the match. Nalanda Vidyaniketan will play with Narayana Olympiad school in finals at SMC grounds on Tuesday.
