Garikipati Satavadhanam concludes

An impressive three days Satavadhanam by renowned Garikipati Narasimharao was remarkable for its intellectual sparkle. This was organized by Sivaramakrishna Kshetram (Ramakoti) from Monday in the same premises.

On the concluding session Garikipati received accolade applauses from the elite audience gathered in the auditorium for his spontaneity and “Dharana”. Dr Garikipati and his wife were felicitated by the organizers on this occasion. Justice Bulusu Siva Sankara Rao, said that the memory power and knowledge of Garikipati was amazing.

He added that Music and knowledge in Literature are divine and only with the blessings of Saraswathi Devi these can be achieved. Palapathy Syamalananda Prasad, Kota Venkata Lakshmi Narasimham, Mallapraggada Srimannarayana Murthy, Sistla Hanumat Prasad and others were felicitated ‘Maha Sahasravadhani’ Garikipati Narasimharao and his wife.

On this concluding session of the avadhanam Garikipati Narasimharao rendered all the poems uninterruptedly for the poems questioned by 75 pruchakas during the past two days. It is worth to mention some of the interesting questions and the avadhani’s replies here.

Koneru kalpana has asked to render a poem mentioning the words Brandy, Whisky, Bar, Sabbu (soap), Garikipati answered in a poem as “Smaraneeyambagu Ramanamamadi sam baru drain tagginan” and for the question asked by Lakhsminarasimhacharyulu to render a poem describing the present situation of the farmers the avadhani said “annamu pettuvadu paramannamu korutaledu jeevitam” .. like this he completed the Satavadhanam in a spirit of joy and knowledge.
