Summer sports coaching camps will begin from May 1

Krishna District Sports Authority (KDSA) will conduct summer sports coaching camps for boys and girls within the age group of 6-16 years to create awareness and develop sports skills. The camps will be conducted in different parts of Krishna district from May 1 to 31.

About 50 summer coaching camps will be organised in the district. Out of which, 20 camps are arranged at Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation (IGMC) stadium in Vijayawada.

Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) has allotted 50 summer sports coaching camps to Krishna district this year. District Sports Development Officer (DSDO) Md Sirajuddin has announced the details of the coaching camps. SAAP will pay honorarium to coaches and provide sports material to concerned sports coaching centers and allotted Rs 5 lakh to conduct the camps.

Speaking to The Hans India DSDO Md Sirajuddin said that the DSA has made all arrangements for conducting coaching camps. He further said sports associations, Physical Education teachers and senior players would render assistance to conduct the camps.
