Silver Nandi award for Controversy
PBS Arts and Science College (PBS) students won the Silver Nandi for the play ‘Controversy’ which was performed at the Nandi Natakotsavam 2017 held earlier at Guntur.
PBS Arts and Science College (PBS) students won the Silver Nandi for the play ‘Controversy’ which was performed at the Nandi Natakotsavam 2017 held earlier at Guntur. The Andhra Pradesh state government gave the award to the PBS students at a programme which was held at Anam Kalakendram, Rajamahendravaram on April 30 said that PBS principal Dr M Ramesh on Friday.
The college principal said that ‘Controversy’ play was performed by the boys and girls of the college at the Nandi Natakotsavam 2017 organised by the AP government early this year. He said that, the audience who watched the play were spellbound seeing the innovative play he added.
He said that, in the play a common man was made a leader and the play moves on with a different angle making the watchers speechless. He said that students P Sai Teja, Joshila participated in the award function. The PBS management and staff congratulated the winners.
