But the Viswa sri creations had conducted the 609th birthday celebrations of saint Annamacharya in unique way at Indian Medicine Association hall.

Mandali Budha Prasad, Deputy Speaker, Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly said that the writings of saint Annamacharya are treasure for Telugu language. He requested the research scholars to search of the remaining keerthans as of now only 18000 keerthanas were found out.

Budha Prasad appreciated Rallapalli Anata Krishnamacharyulu, Veturi Prabhakara Sastry, Garimella Balakrishna Prasad and others for their hard work in research and promoting the Annamacharya keerthans.

On this occasion Balantarapu Rajanikantha Rao released ‘Triveni Tanmayam’ a book written by Garikapati Venkat, a critic and analyst of Annamacharya. Dr Turlapati Kutumba Rao, Garimella Balakrishna Prasad, Deep Chand, DGM SBI, artist Kuchi, Kalidasu and others were participated.

Under the supervision of music director Joysyubhatla Rajasekhara Sarma conducted a musical concert captioned “Annamayya Anuraga Chandanam”. Many Annamacharya krithis were rendered by singers Saicharan, Harini, Sahithi. The commentary of Garikapati Venkat was well appreciated by the music lovers.

Another special feature of the programme was the artist Kuchi has drawn the pictures of keerthanas instantly in the same auditorium and presented to the audience.
