The computer science department of PB Siddhartha college of Arts and Science (PBS) has organised a two day workshop on “Testing Tools” which started on August 2 at the college premises here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion trainer from I Technology Ch Ravikanth explained the use of Selenium testing tool software for testing the newly developed software which would be used for business, industries, educational institutions and for research.
He said by using Selenium the quality, performance and efficiency of the developed software would increase. When the quality and performance of the software is not good the customer would reject the software and switch on to other alternate.
So testing tool plays a major role in the newly developed software, he said. PBS principal Dr M Ramesh, director, V Babu Rao, computer science HoD TS Ravikiran, Dy HoD K Shobana, lectures and students were present.
