In connection with the 70th India’s Independence Day, Doordarshan Saptagiri has started the telecast of the Programme ‘We The Soldiers’ daily at 7PM and repeat telecast at 7AM on the following day from August 6 to 14.

Vijay Bhagawan, Head of Programme, Doordarshan Saptagiri said that the object of the programme is to make the citizens aware about the difficult life and sacrifices that the Jawans make for guarding the sovereignty and integrity of the Nation and thereby make them understand the value of Freedom.
He also added that the programme is like an interview with serving and retired Defence service personnel and this programme was aimed to inculcate True Spirit of Freedom and Patriotism among the citizens. Vijay Bhagawan appealed the viewers to watch this programme and send feedback
