Vijayawada Municipal Corporation and Doondi services had jointly organised \"Happy Sunday\" at BRTS road Satyanarayanapuram here on Sunday. The VMC was very keen to organise Happy Sundays regularly at various places in the city for good health and happiness of the people.

Folk dance was performed at Happy Sunday by Bharati Academy which attracted the audience, and cultural events, dances were performed by children of all age groups.
Placards were displayed by Prayoj organization written ‘I support eco friendly clay Ganesh’ to create awareness in the people to use clay for preparing Ganesh idol for the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
Many people from surrounding areas, college students, players,Doondi services staff and others actively participated and enjoyed the Happy Sunday event.
