Young Archers display skills
Nearly 700 young archers from many parts of India enthusiastically participated in the National Juniors archery competitions being held in memory of late Cherukuri Lenin at the Siddhartha hotel management college grounds on Wednesday.
Nearly 700 young archers from many parts of India enthusiastically participated in the National Juniors archery competitions being held in memory of late Cherukuri Lenin at the Siddhartha hotel management college grounds on Wednesday. Competitions for below 14 years of age was held on Tuesday, the first day. Competitions for below 9 years of age started on Wednesday.
Young kids holding bows enthusiastically participated in the competitions and exhibited their skills. The organisers have made elaborate arrangements for the successful conduct of archery at the grounds.
Andhra Pradesh Archery Association and Krishna district archery association are jointly hosting the Cherukuri Lenin memorial Archery championships from October 23 to 28. Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh is extending support to the Archery associations for hosting the national event.
