Expo for new industrial entrepreneurs

A Two-day 'Vendor Development Programme Cum Industrial EXhibition' began at Rajamahendravaram on Friday, under the aegis of Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).

The expo was aimed to bring awareness among new entreprenuers on how to set up industries and facilities and subsidies available from the government.

Inaugurating the expo local MP Maganti Murali Mohan has underlined the need to organize these types of programmes for the benefit of entreprenuers. Many people are ready to start industries and going back due to lack of awarness about its rules, regulations, marketing and raw material etc.

As the union government is giving various subsidies, it is the duty of MSME officials to organise awareness meetings, as many graduates and post graduates are searching for jobs instead of setting up small units due to lack of support and guidance.

SC Corporation Chairman Jupudi Prabhkar Rao said the corporation is extending necessary financial assistance to SC beneficiaries in various ways. The corporation is ready to extend monetary support for starting industries if MSME provides required information to SC youth.

Some Banks and PSUs arranged their stalls in the programme and briefed their activities to the participants.

Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai, MSME officials KEK Reddym Aravind Patel, DK Kumar and others were present.
