\'Akshara Gayatri Sri Chakra Peetam\' located in Gowthami Ghat on the banks of river Godavari is attracting devotees across the country. It is the tallest temple tower for the presiding diety of Maha Gayatri in the world.

'Akshara Gayatri Sri Chakra Peetam' located in Gowthami Ghat on the banks of river Godavari is attracting devotees across the country. It is the tallest temple tower for the presiding diety of Maha Gayatri in the world.

The temple was constructed in 1,500 square yards with a height of 144 feet along with 12 floors. Six floors earmarked for various forms of Goddess Maha Gayatri Devi and the remaining six floors for spirtitual programmes.

According to Sri Chakra Peetam founder chairman Savitala Chakra Bhaskar Rao, in the first floor there is Sri Chakra Nilayam along with 24feet of Anjaneya Swamy and Subramanya Swamy, sub temples of Lakshmi, Parvathi and Saraswathi, Sahasra Lingeswara Swamy etc. In the second floor Goddess Brahmani, Rudrani, Vaishnavi and Gayatri in various postures are seen along with various sub temples.

In third, fourth and fifth floors postures of Akshra Matruka of Gayatri Mantra of 24 letters and in sixth floor murthis of four vedas are installed.

From seventh to 12th floor fixtures of 24,000 slokas in Valmiki Ramayanam are under progress and it will take two years to complete it.
