Chess academy launch tomorrow
East Godavari District Chess Association vice-president Y Kalyan Kumar has said that GK International Chess Academy will kick off on December 3 in the city. The academy is aimed at producing best chess players from the district by imparting quality training by reputed chess players.
Rajamahendravaram: East Godavari District Chess Association vice-president Y Kalyan Kumar has said that GK International Chess Academy will kick off on December 3 in the city. The academy is aimed at producing best chess players from the district by imparting quality training by reputed chess players.
Speaking to reporters here on Friday, he said that the academy works round-the- clock for the benefit of the candidates. Training fee would also be decided after studying other chess academies in the state.
Chess competitions for under 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13 would be conducted on December 3, in connection with the inauguration of the academy. Many students have been showing interest in chess which also helps to enhance creativity.
Chess players DV Ganesh, Y Grahesh, BJ Srikanth and others were present.
