Three member freebooting gang arrested

Kakinada: The Sarpavaram Police led by Circle Inspector Chaitanya Krishna arrested three freebooters here on Friday.
After producing them before the media, Kakinada DSP Ravi Varma disclosed the details. The modus operandi of the freebooters is to identify the lone commuters who travel on bikes at night.
The trio stops the lone commuters who are unescorted and they loot them after beating them up. The trio has been stealing bikes, cell phones and other valuables of the passengers at Sarpavaram, Indrapalem, Korangi police stations range in a similar way. The Sarpavaram police arrested the gang and recovered a motorbike and a cell phone from the gang.
The DSP appreciated the police team who nabbed the freebooters. The accused trio is Karri Raju, Pemmadi Swami (Yetimoga) and Muthinti Satish (belongs to Chitrada village).
