X-mas cricket tournament begins
Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA) Chairman Ganni Krishna and urban MLA Dr A Satyanarayana, inaugurated the Christmas Cricket Tournament on the premises of Luthern Church here on Friday.
Rajamahendravaram: Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA) Chairman Ganni Krishna and urban MLA Dr A Satyanarayana, inaugurated the Christmas Cricket Tournament on the premises of Luthern Church here on Friday.
The tournment will continue till December 15. As many as 30 teams have been participating in the tournament. Two teams played the tournament on the first day.
According to the tournment organisers, Rs 999 was the entry fee to each team. A team consisting of 15 members and 10 to 12 overs are being fixed for each match. Man of the Match and Man of the Series awards would be given to the final match.
Saint Palus Church Youth Circle is conducting the tournment. Pailivela Anil, Peddireddi Manikanta, Mandapalli Rajiv and Allari Sureh are supervising the tournament.
