The Amaravati Nrityotsav-2017 organised by Nataraj Music and Dance Academy (NMDA), Vishakapatnam with the support of Department of Language and Culture, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Sangeet Natak Academi, Government of India at Siddhartha Auditorium here, concluded on Sunday.
Vijayawada: The Amaravati Nrityotsav-2017 organised by Nataraj Music and Dance Academy (NMDA), Vishakapatnam with the support of Department of Language and Culture, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Sangeet Natak Academi, Government of India at Siddhartha Auditorium here, concluded on Sunday.
On the second and final day, KV Lakshmi composed a ballet depicting the problems that are faced by the present day women on various social evils. BR Vikram Kumar, JV Sudha, Teja Srhree, Bhagya Sree, Joshika, Padmini, Tejaswi, Sanjana, Sachitha, Aruna Pramesh and Shreya Pushkar performed and justified their roles. The music was composed by Dr Dwaram Tyagaraju.
The Kuchipudi dance presented by Divya Sree (Tenali), Rupa Gayatri, Akruthi, Manasi, Rachana (Visakhapatnam) received appreciations from the audience present in the auditorium.
Pinkey Choudary (New Delhi), Priti Waghela Group (Mumbai), Thakshasila (Mumbai) and Kashmira Trivedi had performed Kathak, Rjasthani folk dance and Bharatanatyam respectively. The artistes performed different dance forms with their perfect energy and spirit.
The Odissi art form was presented by Marila Osmachko (Ukraine) and Bharatanatyam was performed by Kshitija Barve (Goa), Girija Nair(Mumbai) and Sai Sanjana (Chennai) impressed the gathering.
S Ravi Shankar Narayan, Additional Commissioner, Income Tax, Ilapuram Raja and BR Vikram Kumar were present.
