Guntur: Service Health Organisation Diabetic Club organiser Dr T Seva Kumar asked patients suffering from diabetes to take care while using their medicines in an event on ‘Diabetes and Medicines’ held here on Sunday.

Addressing the event in the Service Health Organisation premises, he said that a lot of medicines were available off-the-counter to treat diabetes, and added that prescribing medicines depends on the doctor’s skill.

He suggested for diabetes patients to indulge in physical exercises like walking and take precautionary measures while using medication. He insisted on insulin usage on the advice of a doctor. The event also saw Counselling Psychologists Association secretary Krishna Bhagavat.
