He said that conducting religious rituals with blaring audio systems is a cause of inconvenience to the locals.

He requested the organisers of religious ceremonies to use mikes, put sound boxes, and reduce sound to check sound pollution. He pointed out that while conducting the rituals, a large number of devotees parked their cars on the roads. He warned that those who were violating the orders would face stern action from the police.
