Civic chief inspectsside drain works

Guntur: GMC Commissioner Challa Anuradha visited Nandivelugu Road and inspected quality of side drain works and instructed officials to speed up works and complete the works within the stipulated time. She directed the officials to complete the works at three stretches.

She noticed disposed tea cups in the drains at Kolli Sarada Market and ordered officials to take steps to remove tea cups from the drain. She also directed the town planning officials to complete the road widening works and cooperate with the engineering officials for completing the side drain works.

She asked the officials to remove waste building material on the road. GMC officials were also accompanied her during the inspection.
