Guntur: Minister for Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare Nakka Anand Babu, inaugurated the senior men eighth inter-district hockey championship at a programme held in the Brahmanananda Reddy Stadium in Guntur city on Friday .
Speaking on the occasion, he said that those who shine in sports would excel in other fields also. Those who play sports regularly are habituated with working hard and so those who work hard would shine in other fields as well, he added.
MLA Md Mustafa and Gutnur East TDP in-charge Maddali Giridhar were among those participated. Earlier, they met the hockey players in the stadium.
