Kids dance their way into hearts
As a part of the weekend programme, the Department of Language and Culture, Government of Andhra Pradesh organised Kuchipudi dances presented by children at the Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College here.
Vijayawada: As a part of the weekend programme, the Department of Language and Culture, Government of Andhra Pradesh organised Kuchipudi dances presented by children at the Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College here.
Geeta Sravanthi, Shivani, Mounika, Chandana, Gouthami, Kundanika, Ramadevi, Sandhya, Ananya, Dhruthi and Tulasi, the disciples of dance master Ch Srinivas performed Kuchipudi composed by Annamacharya, Adi Sankaracharya, Narayana Teertha, Ramadasu, Thyagaraja Swamy and Veeraraghavaiah.
The kids showcased the dance pieces like Vinayaka Stuti, Jaya Jaya Durge, Satulara Chudare, Paluke Bangaramaye, Dasavataralu, Neelamegha Sareera, Ambastakam, Narayanate Namonamo, Krishnam Kalaya Sakhi Sundaram, Balakanaka Maya Chela, Himagiri Tanaye, Tandanana Bhala and Thillana.
