DNR hosts technical symposium ENCORE-2K17
A national-level technical symposium ENCORE-2K17 was conducted at the DNR Engineering College in Bhimavaram on Friday.
Bhimavaram: A national-level technical symposium ENCORE-2K17 was conducted at the DNR Engineering College in Bhimavaram on Friday.
The College Governing Body Secretary, Gadiraju Satyanarayana Raju (Babu), inaugurated the symposium. Addressing the inaugural meeting, the college secretary, Gadiraju Babu advised the students to concentrate on the research and industrial sectors.
The chief guest of the event, Andhra Pradesh Eastern Power Distribution Company Limited (APEDCL) Assistant Divisional Engineer DNVVRL Rajesh said that the students should manage time and work hard with creativity to achieve their goals. “Compared to my generation, there are plenty of opportunities for the youth of today,” he said.
The college principal, Dr U Rangaraju said that seminars like ENCORE would help students to develop their skills.
Programme convener and head of the EEE Department, S Rajesh said that about 120 students were selected during ENCORE 2K17. “During the two-day symposium, project expo, paper presentation, power point presentation, technical quiz were held,” he said. The students displayed their exhibits during the project expo.
