Eminent pharmacy educationist and scientist, Dr KPR Chowdary has received the prestigious Association of Bio-technology and Pharmacy India (ABAP)-2017 award in recognition to his services in pharmaceutical education.

Rajamahendravaram: Eminent pharmacy educationist and scientist, Dr KPR Chowdary has received the prestigious Association of Bio-technology and Pharmacy India (ABAP)-2017 award in recognition to his services in pharmaceutical education.

Central University of Hyderabad vice-chancellor, Prof Appa Rao presented the award in the presence of Mizoram University vice-chancellor, Prof KR Sambasiva Rao at a meeting held in Hyderabad recently.

Dr Chowdary attributed the award to the student fraternity, who have been working in the field of pharmacy for four decades.

He is currently working as a director (research) in Vikas Institute of Pharmacy Sciences (VIPS). He secured five patents and published about 460 research papers so far.
VIPS chairman TCH Subba Rao, principal Dr TV Narayana, teaching and non-teaching staff congratulated Chowdary for getting the award.
