Revenue sports & cultural meet from Dec 28
District Joint Collector A Mallikarjuna ordered the officials of revenue and other departments to make arrangements for the seventh phase of Revenue Sports and Cultural Meet which is scheduled to begin from December 28.
Kakinada: District Joint Collector A Mallikarjuna ordered the officials of revenue and other departments to make arrangements for the seventh phase of Revenue Sports and Cultural Meet which is scheduled to begin from December 28.
The Joint Collector conducted a review meeting with the revenue association members, education department, Transco, medical and health department and district sports authority officials at the JC’s Bungalow here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Joint Collector informed that the revenue sports will conclude on December 30. He further stated that the Sports Meet would be held at the district sports authority stadium. He suggested the officials that they should conduct this meet in a prestigious manner and asked them to participate with zeal.
The Joint Collector ordered the sports authority officials to prepare the stadium for the sports and make the necessary arrangements like drinking water, accommodation and other amenities at the stadium.
He further ordered sports officials to prepare sportswear, the torch for inauguration, flags and other sporting material for the revenue sports.
District revenue officer (in-charge) CG Nageswara Rao, RDO Raghu Babu, district sports development officer Sayyad, DEO Abraham, Collectorate AO Bhima Rao and other officials were present.
