19 posts filled up on contract basis in Horticulture Dept
Joint Collector Pulipati Koteswara Rao said that 19 posts were filled up on contract basis in horticulture department in the district.The Joint Collector conducted interviews for the Multipurpose Extension Officers posts in the department at Collectorate on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Joint Collector said that a four-member committee was appointed to select eligible candidates with transparency. He said he had conducted the interviews with 84 applicants.
He said that the Government sanctioned about 110 multipurpose extension officers’ posts to the district and out of them 91 posts were already filled up.
The interviews have been conducted for the remaining 19 posts, he added. Horticulture Deputy Director TV Subba Rao, Scientist Rajasekhar and others are the members of the interview panel.
