Eluru/Bhimavaram: The city’s people came together to ring in the New Year on the midnight of Sunday. The youngsters of Eluru conducted bike rally in the city under heavy police security to greet people for the upcoming year.
The police permitted the youth to celebrate New Year till 1 am on Monday. The students of Sri Vishnu Engineering College for Women enthusiastically participated in the New Year celebrations on the college premises. The students performed dances and songs to welcome 2018. The college principal, DR G Srinivasa Rao and Vice-principal Dr P Srinivasa Raju congratulated the students on the occasion. The students cut cake around midnight to welcome the New Year.
