National-level Kabaddi championship from Jan 14
The Gogulamma Utsava Commmittee will conduct the 25th national-level Kabaddi championship at Rustumbada in Narsapur town from January 14 to 18, according to Utsav Committee convener and former MLA, Kottapalli Janakiram and Andhra Pradesh Kabaddi Association treasurer, M Ranga Rao.
Narsapuram: The Gogulamma Utsava Commmittee will conduct the 25th national-level Kabaddi championship at Rustumbada in Narsapur town from January 14 to 18, according to Utsav Committee convener and former MLA, Kottapalli Janakiram and Andhra Pradesh Kabaddi Association treasurer, M Ranga Rao.
“Every year, the Gogulamma Utsav committee would conduct the national-level kabaddi championship in Rustumbada. About 30 teams from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal would participate in the championships,” they stated. The matches would be conducted on a mat for the first time.
“Pro-Kabaddi players Srikanth Reddy and Manoj Kumar would also be taking part in the tourney,” they added. District Kabaddi Association president NVR Das, Desina Srinivasa Rao, Oggu Satyanarayana, Chinamilli Nani, Gannabattula Satyanarayana and others participated in the meeting.
