18 dignitaries conferred Swami Vivekananda national awards

Andhra Pradesh Creativity and Cultural Commission and the Philanthropic Society of Rajamahendravaram jointly organised a programme to present Swami Vivekananda National Award for Outstanding Services to about 18 people for their services to society, on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda at a private function hall here on Wednesday.

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Creativity and Cultural Commission and the Philanthropic Society of Rajamahendravaram jointly organised a programme to present Swami Vivekananda National Award for Outstanding Services to about 18 people for their services to society, on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda at a private function hall here on Wednesday.

Philanthropic Society founder, Addanki Raja led the programme. Speaking to the media, he said that the organisation was established in 2016. For the past three years, the organisation has been encouraging people who had done outstanding service to society in various fields beyond caste, creed and religion in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry.

He said that ‘Pride India Award’ was presented to UIRC Hyderabad president, Shafi for his outstanding motivational speeches for bringing change in the lives of people.

MLC A Rama Krishna, MLA Philip C Tocher and Telengana Industrial Federation chairman SB Baig presented the awards.
The others who received awards were Global Creative Arts Academy founder M Sita, Supraja Group of Hotels, Hyderabad T Praveen, Ayurvedic Research Department, Telengana Dr P Yeshoda, writer and sociologist Dr B Vijaya Kumari, Walkers International governor D Karunasri, Sociologist P Suhurlatha and Nail artist Dr P Ravi.
