Tirubharanotsavam of Swamy Ayyappa on Jan 14
Dharma Sastra Adyatmika Samsta member, Challa Shankar Rao has said that Tirubharanotsavam of Swamy Ayyappa will be conducted here on January 14. The utsavam commences from the house of Davuluri Rama Krishna at Rehmat Nagar and ends at Swamy Ayyappa temple in Gowthami Ghat.
Rajamahendravaram: Dharma Sastra Adyatmika Samsta member, Challa Shankar Rao has said that Tirubharanotsavam of Swamy Ayyappa will be conducted here on January 14. The utsavam commences from the house of Davuluri Rama Krishna at Rehmat Nagar and ends at Swamy Ayyappa temple in Gowthami Ghat.
Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, he said, “The procession passes through RTC Complex, Pata Somalla Temple, Ramalayam Centre, Prakash Nagar, TTD Kalyana Mandapam, Kambala Tank, Devi Chowk, Lakshmivarapupeta, Fort Gate, mainroad, market and Visweswara Swamy Temple and finally reachy Swamy Ayyappa Temple.”
He appealed to the people to participate in the celestial fete to get blessings of Swamy Ayyappa. Another Samsta member Polasanipalli Hanmantha Rao said the temple management was continuing Annadanam for the past few years and a fund of Rs 1 crore was deposited for this purpose. The management had been providing meals to Ayyappa Swamys, Bhavani Swamys, Venkateswara Swamys and performing all the rituals as per sastras. Samsta member Jakkampudi Vijaya Lakshmi and others were present.
