The Prakasam district Telugu Desam Party leaders and cadre observed the 22nd death anniversary of their founder president and matinee idol Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao by organising service-oriented programmes like blood donation camps and free meal distribution in all Assembly constituencies in the district along with the towns and villages based on the strength of the leaders.

Ongole: The Prakasam district Telugu Desam Party leaders and cadre observed the 22nd death anniversary of their founder president and matinee idol Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao by organising service-oriented programmes like blood donation camps and free meal distribution in all Assembly constituencies in the district along with the towns and villages based on the strength of the leaders.

In Ongole, the Prakasam district TDP president and local MLA, Damacharla Janardhan along with the party national vice-president and MLC Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy and Telugu Rytu president and MLC Karanam Balarama Krishnamurthy participated in the programmes. They offered floral tributes at various places in the Ongole town and inaugurated the blood donation camp in the district party office, NTR Bhavan. The district party also offered free meal to the NTR fans and other poor people.

In Chirala, MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan made large arrangements for the NTR death anniversary programme. After garlanding the statues of the NTR at the bus stand and other places in the town, Krishna Mohan said that NTR was the icon for Telugu pride and the Telugus cannot forget him. He participated in the bike rally through the town while the party workers raised slogans hailing TDP and NTR.

Later, he inaugurated the blood donation camps in the town and started free meal distribution for more than 10000 people. In Kandukur, the local TDP leaders garlanded the statue of NTR in the town and participated in the blood donation camp and Annadanam in the local TTD Kalyanamandapam. In the Giddalur constituency, the cadre in the six mandals organized blood donation camps locally.
