Prajavani echoes pleas for houses, ration card

Rajamahendravaram: Sub-Collector CM Sai Srikanth Varma has said that houses would be allotted to the homeless as per government directives. “Many people have been asking for houses, and they would soon be allotted in a phased manner,” he said. Receiving petitions at the Prajavani programme at his office here on Monday, he said that the government had sanctioned some new houses to the city and every effort would be made to do justice to all eligible beneficiaries.

Along with requests for houses, many placed requests for sanction of pensions for old age, widow and the handicapped. They had been receiving requests for issue of ration cards, which would be given as early as possible post due verification. “The officials have been directed to initiate steps in this direction. The government is ready to resolve the problems,” he added.
He further averred that the government was also very particular to settle the problems received during the Prajavani programme.
