Eluru: Excise Minister KS Jawahar has called upon the people to not discriminate between the genders in society. He inaugurated ‘Ammaku Vandanam’ programme organised by Zilla Parishad High School in Satrampadu on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he said, “Everyone sees their mother as a divine entity. She always wants her children to be in a good position in the society.” The Minister suggested that the parents provide education to girls on par with boys without any discrimination.

Eluru MLA Badeti Kota Ramarao (Bujji) said that everyone should respect their mothers. # Eluru MLC Ramu Surya Rao, District Educational Officer C Renuka, Sarpanch K Rani Nirmala Kumari, ZPTC members Matta Rajeswari, MPTC members M Vijayalakshmi, Ch Anthonamma, Deputy DEO Abburi Suryanarayana and Udaya Kumar participated in the event. Earlier, the Minister administered the ‘Ammaku Vandanam’ pledge to students.
