Compactor dustbins help improve sanitation: Civic chief
The Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC) is initiating steps to implement sanitation works effectively and providing latest dustbins in many places instead of old dustbins in the city.
Rajamahendravaram: The Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC) is initiating steps to implement sanitation works effectively and providing latest dustbins in many places instead of old dustbins in the city.
The RMC Commissioner, V Vijayararama Raju said many business people have donated ‘compactor bins’ to replace old dustbins. “The corporation is mainly concentrating on sanitation in the city, which is the need of the hour. The officials are checking the sanitation works from time to time for their proper execution. The compactor bins will be placed in important centres in the city,” he explained.
The civic chief appealed to the people to extend their cooperation to implement sanitation works to make the city clean. “Corporation Additional Commissioner NVVS Narayana and manager KS Rao were in touch with businessmen who had been providing the new bins,” he added.
