Akiveedu: Sarpanch Gontla Ganapati has said that the Chandranna Bheema introduced by State Government has given assurance on the life of poor people. He handed over cheques sanctioned under Chandranna Bheema to four families residing in Santha Market in Akiveedu on Wednesday.
He said that the Government had sanctioned cheques worth Rs 8 lakh to disburse to Otnuri Satyavati, Nunna Bala Balaji, Peddapurapu Bujji and Gowramma. Each family received Rs 2 lakh under Chandranna Bheema. Fifth ward member Illapu Krishnaveni, MPTC member Bolla Venkatrao and others participated in the programme.
