Customs dept holds blood donation camp
The Customs and Central Excise department organised a blood donation camp at their office here on Friday, on the eve of Customs Day on Saturday, and to celebrate the Republic Day. Joint Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise S Narasimha Reddy inaugurated the blood donation camp and a training session on first aid to the students with the coordination of the Red Cross Society.

Joint Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise S Narasimha Reddy inaugurated the blood donation camp and a training session on first aid to the students with the coordination of the Red Cross Society.
Speaking on the occasion, the Joint Commissioner said that donating blood would certainly save a life of the needy. He also donated blood at the camp along with the employees of the Joint Commissioner’s office. The officials then participated in a training session on first aid. Red Cross Society Kakinada chairman YD Ramarao, treasurer Siva Rama Krishna and secretary Siva Kumar were present at the camp.
