Kakinada: ONGC’s Eastern Offshore Asset celebrated the 69th Republic day at its upcoming Vakalpudi complex in Kakinada with traditional gaiety and enthusiasm.
Large number of employees, associates and media were present to collectively share the joys of India’s vibrant democracy and to commemorate India becoming a democratic republic on this day 70 years back. Executive Director Alok Nandan unfurled the National flag and inspected the parade presented to him by ONGC Security.
Mr. Alok Nandan congratulated all on occasion of the Republic Day and spoke eloquently about the values we Indian must respect, which make us enjoy the fruits of a successful democratic republic. In his address, he emphasized, on bringing work life balance to our routines to enable us stay healthy and more efficient.
ED Asset Manager during his address also shared the status of upcoming projects. He said that prestigious S1 Vasishta and DWN-98/2 projects are going as per scheduled and would bring significant value by way of large amount of oil and gas, to ONGC and the nation in future. He called upon all employees to remain prepared to take up new challenges. Pointing out ONGC’s contribution to people’s welfare, the official said, “ONGC’s structured CSR programmes are giving immense benefit to local people particularly to villages like Odalarevu where we have undertaken several projects.”
