The DIC and APIIC organised an awareness session on the entrepreneurship and development of industries in the Ongole Assembly constituency at the Old ZP meeting hall on Wednesday. Ananda Kumar said that the incentives on capital, Rs 0.25 interest on loans, discount on electricity price, reimbursement on land purchase etc were being implemented to the new entrepreneurs in the area.

The APIIC zonal manager, GVL Narasimaharao said that various industries were being established in the industrial zones in the district. With those initiatives, the Donakonda industrial zone, NIMZ at Kanigiri would be realised soon, he added. The AP state Finance Corporation senior branch manager, P Kamalarao said that the entrepreneurs can take loans from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 crore from them. He asked the interested candidates to approach them with perfect project report and necessary documents for the loan.

The AILA state secretary, K Sarveswara Rao, DICCI district coordinator V Bhaktavatsalam, about 50 students from QIS Colleges participated in the programme along with the interested candidates.
