SRKR gets national rank for NPTEL programme
SRKR Engineering College here secured second rank in Andhra Pradesh and 10th rank at the national-level by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Chennai) for National Programme on Technology-Enhanced Learning programme (NPTEL) for its online courses.
Bhimavaram: SRKR Engineering College here secured second rank in Andhra Pradesh and 10th rank at the national-level by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Chennai) for National Programme on Technology-Enhanced Learning programme (NPTEL) for its online courses.
The college Principal, Dr G Partdhasaradhi Varma on Wednesday said that the Chennai IIT announced the rankings. College Technology Centre Head Dr N Gopalkrishnamurthy said that the Indian IITs and IISC Bangalore conduct online courses for the students to learn new technologies. Nearly 900 members attended the online courses through SRKR Technology centre conducted between July to October by IIT, Chennai from SRKR Engineering College.
After the completion of courses, the IIT Chennai conducted the online exams. “IIT Chennai declared the rankings for the colleges in NPTEL programmes,” the college principal said. He stated that the College won the 2nd rank and 10th rank in National level with AAA rating. The college sectary and correspondent Sagi Vithal Rangaraju congratulated the Technology centre head Dr Gopalkrishnamurthy for their efforts.
