MSME a boon to budding entrepreneurs
Micro Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSME) Development Centre director KRK Prasad has said that the government is encouraging entrepreneurs under MSME programme, which is a boon to the budding entrepreneurs. “The government is giving many subsidies under MSME to encourage industrial sector in the state,” he said.

Addressing the students in Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) here on Wednesday, he said the industries worth up to Rs 25 lakh comes under micro industries category and above Rs 25 lakh investment falls under small industries category.
“There are abundant opportunities to elevate themselves as entrepreneurs, I advise the students to think about how to become an industrialist instead of searching for a job,” he stated. The MSME extends necessary guidance to the students in this regard.
District Industries Centre (DIC) general manager AV Patel briefed about the facilities to set up industries and government industrial policy along with government subsidies to the budding entrepreneurs. He asked the students to avail this opportunity to become industrialists with small investments. GIET general manager Dr PS Raju and other staff were present.
