The Industrial Department in association with the QIS College of Engineering and Technology started four skill development programmes for around 300 Electronics and Communications Engineering students from various colleges in the district on Monday,

Ongole: The Industrial Department in association with the QIS College of Engineering and Technology started four skill development programmes for around 300 Electronics and Communications Engineering students from various colleges in the district on Monday, announced the secretary and correspondent of QIS, Nidamanuri Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy and its president Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao.

Kalyan Chakravarthy said that embedded systems expert Govinda Rao, from Microlink Peripherals India Limited, is training 92 students on embedded systems while Venkat from Avalog Technologies is training 78 students on networking systems. He also said that Dr Himabindu is training 55 students on MATLAB and Pradeep is training 75 students on VLSI.

The college principal Dr Kilari Veeraswamy and the HoD of ECE Dr Ch Balaswamy are overseeing the training programme for the engineering students, Chakravarthy added.
